an old Monastery about 400years old. on top of the Hill, great view from another angle over Salzburg. medieval style inside the church and a spot yard to relax and enjoy the view. place not too crowded with Tourists.
Discovered this place after a small hike on the hill. They offer some home made soup and pastries, and some coffee. Remember to give some donations for their delicious soup and food. They got a really nice view overlooking the city and the fortress. Definitely worth the stop.
We just walked up all the stairs to find a free concert that was publicised for 7pm tonight and found the choir rehearsing… sounding beautiful.

This was a nice retreat from the people and bustle of the city. If you can power through the steps, there are benches at the top that afford great views and a cool spot to relax in the shade, or keep going up the trails for a nice walk in the woods.
Wonderful view of the city, after a steep climb with many stair. But it is totally worth it!
The Kapuzinerkloster is high atop the Kapuzinerberg, its architecture is more modest. Sitting above the City of Salzburg. You can enjoy the overwhelming views across the rooftops of Salzburg. There are a lot of stairs to climb to the top. After you make it to the top, the view will take your breath away. That's how beautiful it is. This is a place to go when you are not in a rush. There is so much to see here. Hope you will enjoy this Amazing Monastery. I know we did!
